Sencha Green: The Zesty One
Made from Sencha Kukicha tea (which includes the stems as well as the tea leaves), the tea is enriched by the inclement coastal weather of Shizuoka. Sencha tea is a popular type of Japanese green tea known for its refreshing taste, vibrant green colour. Made from the sun-grown leaves of the camellia sinensis plant, Sencha offers a bright, slightly grassy flavour with subtle sweet and umami notes. This tea is prized not only for its flavour but also for its high levels of antioxidants, which are known to promote heart health and support metabolism.
Tasting Notes
Sencha Green is fresh and zesty. With notes of sea air and tropical fruits. Thanks to our house culture, Left Field Kombucha naturally contains a host of healthy organic acids and bacteria which contribute to good gut health, promoting a balanced digestive system.
Our products prioritise high-quality, craft-brewed, ethically sourced tea, allowing the natural flavours to shine through. When brewing kombucha, we only add three things (tea leaves, sugar, and water) to our natural fermentation culture which imparts lots of gut-healthy acids and bacteria. Our award-winning handcrafted drinks are naturally low in calories, and a grown-up alternative to sugary soft drinks.
Sencha Green is named as one of the best kombucha teas to buy in 2024 by BBC Good Food, "Really something special, and well worthy of a toast!"
Awarded Double Gold at the 2022 Great Taste Awards.
Serving & Storing
Best served chilled as it comes. Try with a slice of lemon. Our Sencha Green kombucha is the perfect accompaniment to sushi, and spring greens.
You can drink our kombucha straight from the bottle, or pour it into a glass. You may find a little sediment in the bottle, which is made up of harmless yeast and bacteria cells, and is completely normal.
Left Field Kombucha is a living, unpasteurised drink. To retain its goodness, store in a cool, dark environment until you're ready to drink it.

When will your order reach you?
We ship Monday to Friday with DHL.
Our couriers collect from us at roughly 3pm so if your order was placed later than 2.30pm, then it will be dispatched the following working day.
Our couriers deliver Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm, but during busy times, deliveries may be made outside of these times, and may take longer.
We cannot be held responsible for disruption to shipping caused by industrial disputes, weather, damaged goods or actions outside our direct control.
How do I track my order?
Once the order leaves the brewery you will receive an email with tracking information - please follow the link in your email. If you have any questions about delivery, please check with the courier service.
Safe place / delivery instructions
Please ensure there will be someone available to sign for the delivery.
We can deliver to places of work if you request it at the time of order.
If you would like your delivery left in a safe place, please ensure you complete the delivery instructions box at checkout. We know you can't always guarantee you will be at home so this really helps to ensure you don't have to travel to your local (or not so local!) delivery office to collect a case of heavy bottles. Once it leaves the brewery, your order is within the courier system. We can't influence the courier company - you will need to contact them directly to rearrange delivery.
What happens if I miss my delivery?
If nobody is in when the courier attempts to deliver, then a card will be left informing you that an attempted delivery had been made. If you do not contact the courier company within 48 hours, the kombucha may be returned to us. In this situation, we will credit your account, less any delivery charge.
Problems with your order
Where's your order?
If your order does not arrive within 3 days of dispatch, please contact us by email Info@leftfieldkombucha.co.uk. We understand that a missing, damaged, or delayed shipment can be frustrating. Once a case leaves our brewery the shipment is in the hands of our courier and things can go wrong. In these circumstances we will do our best to send replacements or offer refunds for damaged goods ASAP.
