1. About these terms
1.1 What these terms cover.
These are the terms and conditions governing our ‘Rewards’ membership Referral Rewards which is available to account holders (the Referral Rewards).
1.2 Why you should read them.
Please read these terms carefully before you register for an account. They tell you who we are, how our Referral Rewards operate, how we may change or end the Referral Rewards, and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in the terms, please contact us to discuss.
1.3 Additional terms.
Additional terms and conditions may apply to certain special offers, competitions, giveaways, and prize draws (each a Promotion) available to members of the Referral Rewards. Any such additional terms and conditions will be posted on our website together with the details of the relevant Promotion. Please make sure you read them carefully.
2. Information about us and how we may contact each other
2.1 Who we are.
We are Left Field Kombucha Limited, a company registered in Scotland. Our company registration number is SC527210, and our registered office is at 16 Nasmyth Court, Houstoun Industrial Estate, Livingston, Scotland, EH54 5EG.
2.2 How to contact us.

2.3 How we may contact you.
We may contact you using the email address that you provided to us when you registered for your account (or using any other contact details you may have provided to us since then). You must notify us of any changes to your contact details.
3. Eligibility for accounts and the Referral Rewards
3.1 Who is eligible to register for an account and the Referral Rewards.
To be eligible for an account you must:
- (a) Be resident in the United Kingdom;
- (b) Be at least 18 years of age (or if the legal age of majority is greater in the country that you are resident in, have reached the age of majority); and
- (c) Have a valid email address.
3.2 To be eligible for membership of the Referral Rewards.
You must have an active account.
3.3 Our discretion to refuse membership.
We may refuse an application for a Referral Rewards account for any reason, at our absolute discretion. We may close an account at any time at our absolute discretion.
3.4 Multiple accounts.
You can only have one Referral Rewards account. We may merge, refuse, or close additional accounts at any time at our absolute discretion. We reserve the right to monitor the number of accounts in any household, and to cancel any accounts where we suspect duplicate accounts are held by the same person (if we cancel or merge any accounts the holder of the account(s) that we have cancelled and/or merged may forfeit any accrued benefits).
3.5 Personal use only.
Our Referral Rewards are for personal use only. We reserve the right at any time to determine whether you are acting in a personal capacity or on behalf of a business. If we determine that you are using the Referral Rewards for business purposes we may cancel your account and membership and you will forfeit any accrued benefits.
4. Account Terms
4.1 How to register for your account.
Provided you meet the eligibility criteria set out in Clause 3.1 above, you can register for an account by visiting the Referral Rewards page on www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk and completing the “sign up” section of the page. You must provide us with your full name, a valid email address, and any other information that we indicate that we require during the registration process.
4.2 You must keep your information up to date.
It is important that you keep your information up to date so that (amongst other things) we can monitor your account eligibility. You therefore represent and warrant to us that any information that you are required to provide to us when you register for your account is true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects, and you acknowledge that we provide you with the account on the basis of that representation. You also undertake to promptly notify us of any changes to that information by updating the details on your account.
4.3 Passwords and security.
You will need to set up a password and username when you register for your account. You should not disclose your password or username to anyone else and you are solely responsible for keeping your account information confidential. You must take care to prevent misuse of your account and ensure that no one else has access to your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security related to your account.
4.4 Losses as a result of misuse or unauthorised access of your account.
We will not be liable for losses incurred as a result of any misuse or unauthorised use of your password or your account (including, to avoid doubt, the spending of any Credit you may have accrued).
4.5 Online access.
Our accounts are administered online only. You must maintain a valid email address to use your account and you must have internet access to access your account.
5. Registering to join the Referral Rewards
5.1 How to join the Referral Rewards.
Please register for an account.
5.3 Use of “you” in these terms and conditions.
In Clauses 6 to 12 (inclusive), or where the context otherwise requires (for example, because a benefit is only available to account holders who are members of the Referral Rewards), “you” means “you (provided that you are a member of the Referral Rewards)”.
6. Benefits of the Referral Rewards
6.1 What the Referral Rewards gives you.
As a member of the Referral Rewards you may have access to a variety of perks and benefits and the ability to earn Credit which can be redeemed for money off purchases on www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk. Where we refer to “www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk” in these terms and conditions we are referring to the www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk store.
6.2 Benefits subject to change.
We may at any time in our absolute discretion vary the benefits of the Referral Rewards (including the value and availability of any Credit) or withdraw benefits altogether.
7. Credit
7.1 How Credit works.
Subject to the rest of this Clause 7 (which sets out exactly how you can earn Credit), we will give you Credit for referring friends to www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk when they make a qualifying purchase at www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk.

- (a) You may earn Credit if you take part in our referral programme which is exclusively available to members of the Referral Rewards.
- (b) When a friend uses the unique link to make a qualifying purchase, you will receive £5 credit off future purchases and your friend will receive £5 credit off their purchase. A qualifying purchase is a first time customer/household, referrals cannot be made to, or with the same postal or email address.
- (c) receiving credit cannot be retroactively applied.
8. Spending Referral Rewards Credit
- (a) You can apply Credit towards the cost of purchases on www.leftfieldkombucha.co.uk. You can choose whether to pay for purchases using Credit in part or full.
- (b) We will not exchange Credit for cash and Credit cannot be transferred to another person.
- (c) Credit cannot be used towards gift card purchases or towards purchases made using a discount code.
- (d) From time to time we may determine that Credit cannot be used towards purchases of certain products or during certain promotional campaigns, for example on new or limited release products, or when we are offering sales promotions on our store. We will make any such restrictions clear on our website.
9. Returning purchases
- (a) If you return a purchase for which you earned Credit and we give you a refund, we will deduct the amount of Credit that you earned for that purchase from your account.
- (b) If you return a purchase that you paid for using Credit we will credit your account with the number of Credits you applied towards the purchase. We will not refund you with cash for the portion of the purchase that you paid for using Credit.
12. Termination
- (a) You can close your account (and/or terminate your membership of the Referral Rewards) at any time by contacting us via info@leftfieldkombucha.co.uk.
- (b) We may close your account (and thereby your membership of the Referral Rewards) immediately without notice at any time in our absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever.
- (c) Without prejudice to our general right to close your account at any time:
- (i) if we suspect you to be acting in breach of these terms and conditions or using your account in a fraudulent manner or for unlawful purposes we may terminate your account immediately and without notice; and
- (ii) if your account has been inactive for 24 months we may review it and terminate it.
- (d) If your account is closed (whether by you or by us) any accrued but unused Credits will be forfeited and cancelled. You will not be entitled to any cash compensation for the forfeited credits and the credits will not be reinstated if you subsequently reopen a new account.
13. Data protection
13.1 Our privacy policy.
Any personal information that we collect through the Referral Rewards will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found at https://leftfieldkombucha.co.uk/pages/privacy-policy. In addition, we may use personal information that we collect through the Referral Rewards to:
- (a) Administer your account and the Referral Rewards; and
- (b) To assess your eligibility for an account.
13.2 Marketing communications.
You can opt out of any marketing communications at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing communication emails we send to you.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1 Website terms and conditions.
By registering for an account you acknowledge and accept our website terms and conditions, which are available here and are incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions.
14.2 Application of local laws.
Our accounts and the Referral Rewards are subject to all applicable law and regulation.
14.3 We may transfer this agreement to someone else.
We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will ensure that the transfer or assignment will not affect your rights under these terms.
14.4 You need our consent to transfer your rights to someone else.
You may not transfer or assign your rights or your obligations under these terms.
14.5 Nobody else has any rights under this contract.
This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
14.6 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force.
Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
14.7 Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later.
If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us from taking steps against you at a later date.
14.8 Our right to amend these terms.
We may update, modify, suspend, or terminate these terms and conditions at any time, in our sole and absolute discretion, or end the Referral Rewards or close our accounts programme, by amending these terms and conditions and posting a notification on our website or emailing you.
14.9 Governing law and jurisdiction.
These terms and conditions and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by Scottish law, and the courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute relating to them.
