At Left Field, we approach tea selection with care. Unlike a lot of other brands, we don’t add any additional flavourings meaning the quality of the tea is essential. We ensure every sip meets the highest standard of quality and taste.

Why Tea Selection is Vital 

Kombucha relies on just four ingredients: tea, sugar, water, and a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast). The tea we choose is central to the entire experience, that’s why consistency is key. Consistency in Selection: Crafting the Experience

One of the pillars of exceptional kombucha is consistency. Each growing season has different amounts of sunshine, rainfall and temperature, and, like with wine and grapes, makes a different vintage even in the same farms year to year. Each growing season we sit down and blind sample many dozens of samples from farms in each region for each tea variation so we can flavour match against our previous batch. All to make sure that we’re getting the best and most consistent flavour.
